Olivia Ard is a writer and the author of Pretty Lies, a collection of poetry and short fiction digitally published in 2022. As an HR analyst, mental health advocate, and social scientist, she crafts narratives that are nuanced, introspective, and true—regardless of whether they’re “real.” She holds a BA in History from the University of Montevallo and a BS in Human Resource Management from Bellevue University.

Olivia lives in central Alabama with her husband JD and their daughters, Florence (7) and Thea (5). She enjoys listening to podcasts, getting lost in Stardew Valley, devouring all things Star Trek, and perfecting her sourdough technique.
